Track and Supports

Track for the Scorpion® is available in extended lengths to minimize joints, and is constructed using a heavy duty tubular spar which allows floor supports to be placed on 15’ centers. The track may also be ceiling hung. Standard radius for curved track sections is 8', 10', 12' and 14'. The Scorpion can change elevations and bank in the curves. The two guide rails that support the carrier are formed of aluminum assuring quiet, smooth operation.

With increasing capacity and flexibility in mind, the Tilt Tray is specifically designed to be easily expanded or modified. Its modular bolt together design allows the track layout to be re-configured to a customer’s future needs. Most common items added or expanded to systems include, but are not limited to: track, tilt positions, chutes, induction points, and scanners. The standard paint used by Mantissa is Lowe's gray. Mantissa components are power coated.
