Carrier Assembly
The carrier is comprised of an axle, fin, wheels and casters that ride on twin aluminum
guide rails. Removable fastener construction allows any part to be replaced individually.
The vertical armature fin is extruded in a special configuration to provide a high
strength to weight ratio. The connector is a precision-machined spherical rod end
rated at 4000 pounds of pull. Each end is threaded for easy replacement, and Teflon
lined (PTFE) to provide permanent lubrication.
Each guide wheel is fitted with an ABEC-1 precision bearing calculated to give a
B10 life of over one hundred years. Each bearing is encased in polyurethane tread.
The polyurethane is then turned to ensure uniform concentricity and surface finish
that guarantees smooth, quiet operation. Quick-change pivot bearings are used in
each aluminum-extruded caster to provide ease in maintenance.
Carrier Cover
The carrier cover is attached to the top of the carrier. It is used for protecting
the carrier from debris and any product that could fall through the carrying trays.
The carrier cover is made of polypropylene, which makes it very flexible, but sturdy.
