TILT MODULES  

The tilt module attaches to the carrier assembly.  Each module features dual Mantissa™ SmartArms molded of SMC (sheet molding compound), a thermo set (rather than thermo plastic) glass - reinforced material, which gives strength and rigidity to the design.  All precision cam surfaces are molded directly into the arm.  A roller latch provides a greater level of durability in the locking mechanism. Each tilt module includes a bottom shield that prevents any product from accidentally falling into any moving mechanism.

TRAYS

  Trays will be mounted on the tilt modules and configured so that the bottom of the tray is pitched slightly inward toward the longitudinal centerline of the tray to facilitate centering of product in the tray.  Trays are thermo-formed of impact-resistant ABS plastic.  The ideal properties of ABS plastic lower the risk of discoloration, warping and delamination under heavy use.   The top surface of the tray will have no obstruction that could snag or abrade the product being conveyed.  Trays are designed for easy removal for maintenance purposes.  Each tray can have flush mounted reflective stripes enabling empty and full tray detection.
