The Mantissa Green Drive® is a patented Mantissa innovation featuring an energy efficient drive module, designed to utilize up to 70% less energy while providing greater thrust compared to linear induction motors (LIMs).  Incorporating standard industrial elements, the Green Drive's unique configuration eliminates the need for any external cooling devices, yet allows quick and easy maintenance with virtually silent operation.

An A/C inverter controls the Green Drive and individual thermal overloads protect each motor.  The drive is comprised of two (2) driven rollers, each coated with an extremely durable proprietary urethane blend.  Both rollers are self-energizing in that they are positioned to maintain contact with each passing fin, and as rollers rotate in opposing direction, the driving force is generated.
